The idea of Zefiro emerged gradually, through years of conversations with designers from all over the world. I’ve always kept a few Moleskine notebooks where I record thoughts, sketches, and impressions from those encounters — and it was during one of my seasonal pauses, in August and around Christmas, re-reading those notes, that the spark of Zefiro took shape.
I wanted something dynamic, a system that could move through space and bring rhythm and fluidity into architecture itself — a way to make rooms breathe and flow.
Zefiro was conceived to be extremely customizable, responding to the creative freedom of architects: vast dimensions, refined finishes, and material choices that make every version unique. The project became real thanks to the technical and manufacturing excellence of LINVISIBILE’s team, whose precision and passion transformed an idea of motion into a tangible object — light, elegant, and unmistakably Italian.
The image associated with Zefiro reflects what I call the Ferrara Blue: the color of the sky in the eastern part of the city, visible only in early autumn, between 5 and 7 p.m. A fleeting, magical light — the kind of beauty that exists just long enough to remind us how fragile balance can be.
Zefiro is not only a door — it’s a gesture of continuity, a silent rhythm between spaces.
