I began teaching long before I realized it would become such a defining part of my life.

My first experience as an instructor came during my time in the army, where I was responsible for training and leading several dozen men. That was where I first understood what it truly means to teach — not simply to pass on instructions, but to guide others through survival in challenging environments, both physical and mental.
When I later worked as a bartender during my university years, I kept on teaching, in a different way. Behind the counter, I learned to overcome shyness, to connect with people, and to speak with authenticity. I discovered that teaching is, above all, about learning first — about observing, listening, and adapting in real time.
After graduating, I had the privilege of continuing that journey thanks to my mentor, friend, and later business partner, Giovanni Toletti, who invited me to start teaching in academia. That opportunity opened a door that has never closed since.
In 2012, I founded JTC School — a project born from the desire to share real experiences, foster practical skills, and help people build the kind of competencies that truly matter. Together with a team of exceptional collaborators — Matteo Radavelli, Emanuela Pierantozzi, and Rick Dolcetto — we built a learning environment where curiosity and practice meet.

For me, teaching has never been a one-way process. Each time I step into a classroom, I deepen my own understanding of the very topics I aim to explain. The people I meet — students, professionals, entrepreneurs — continually challenge and inspire me to refine what I know.
I started from the management of technical knowledge — military, professional, and later in the fields of bartending, corporate finance, strategy, and business planning — and eventually reached what has become my main focus today: personal development. I believe that learning to build and manage relationships is the real key to improving not only our own lives, but also those of the people around us. That, ultimately, is where learning finds its deepest meaning.
